TECHNICAL SERVICES

Groundwater Exploration & Geophysical Services

From initial site investigation to drilling recommendations, our work is designed to reduce uncertainty before borehole drilling begins.

01

Groundwater Exploration

Geological reconnaissance, terrain interpretation, drainage patterns, groundwater indicators, structural geology, available borehole information and field measurements are combined to understand the site.

  • Geological reconnaissance
  • Terrain and drainage interpretation
  • Structural geology
  • Field measurements

Geophysical Surveying

Different geological materials conduct electrical current differently. Resistivity data can support interpretation of weathered formations, fractured rock, contacts, faults and possible water bearing structures. Conductivity alone is not proof of groundwater.

  • Electrical resistivity profiles
  • Fracture and fault investigation
  • Geological contact interpretation
  • Subsurface anomaly mapping
03

Vertical Electrical Sounding

VES measurements are taken at increasing electrode spacing to investigate deeper geological conditions and build an interpreted model of subsurface layers.

  • Electrode configuration
  • Increasing investigation depth
  • Resistivity curve analysis
  • Interpreted geological layers

04

Borehole Siting

Geology, geophysics, terrain and structural features are interpreted together to recommend one or more potential drilling positions.

  • Geology + geophysics
  • Terrain context
  • Priority target selection
  • Physical marking or coordinates
Geology+Geophysics+Terrain= Recommended Position
05

Hydrogeological Assessment

A broader evaluation of geological setting, groundwater recharge, aquifer potential, drainage, topography, structural geology and available nearby borehole records.

  • Geological setting
  • Recharge conditions
  • Aquifer potential
  • Existing water point context

Survey Reporting

Clients receive a clear summary of field observations, survey methods, interpreted findings, recommended points and relevant technical comments.

  • Site observations
  • Interpretation graphics
  • Recommended positions
  • Technical limitations
